About

My name is Ivan Yerzin, and I am: Christian, Russian, translator, probably in that particular order. I live in Kazakhstan in the midst of the great steppes and most of my days spend reading, writing and sometimes cycling.

I love open source and for many years use Linux and BSD systems as my daily drivers.

This tiny blog is my attempt to bring some ideas in order and maybe do something funny for the community. The blog is generated by BSSG — free and open source static site generator written in bash by Stefano Marinelli, welcoming barista of BSD.cafe.

You can find me on Mastodon or write me an email.
